how does our class help me w/ life lessons?

This class has helped me with a lot of life lessons. In this blog I am going to be talking about what those life lessons are. I couldn't be more thankful in being in this class. This class has really helped me, and if you want to know how this class has helped me, just keep on reading.

The first example on how this class has helped me, is how to work with other people. Working with others or different people is a big part of being in this class. In most of our projects that we do, we always have to work in pairs or in a group. Though, times might be tough or you might not have the same opinion the people, you still have to pull through and just be nice to each other. This class really helped me on how to work with other people because of my personal experiences.

The second example on how this class has helped me is how to communicate with others. Communicating with others is also a big part of being in this class. We have to many people to set up interviews, or even just calling a school to get information on our radios. We also have to communicate with our peers and partners if we don't agree with what they have said. When we went on our STN trip, we met with different people and they asked us questions, which meant we had to communicate with them and have a conversation. That is another example on this class has helped me.

The last example on how this class has helped me is how to use Final Cut Pro. Using Final Cut Pro really helped me by showing me how I can edit a variety of different videos. I can also use this editing application to help me in the near future. If I decide if I want to continue media in high school or in other classes, knowing how to edit on Final Cut Pro would really help me in the future.

In conclusion, this class has helped me many times. This class has helped me by teaching me how to use Final Cut Pro, help me communicate with others, and working with others. That is how this class has helped me with life lessons. Thanks for reading, have a great day!

Hey everyone! I'm back for another blog! This weeks blog topic is about our Family Night video that we our going to show at the Family Night Dinner! I have three different videos that I am going to be talking about, and I will also be sharing three reasons why I chose these videos. If you want to know which videos I will be deciding on, just keep on reading!

So the first video that I may be sharing at the Family Night is my PSA! If you didn't know my PSA was about saving energy. I would want to be sharing this video because of the message behind my PSA which is 'saving energy, could help save the environment. I think by showing this, it could bring awareness to everyone at the dinner.

Another video that I might show at the Family Night, is our STN video. What I mean by our STN video, is the video we shot for Anchoring during STN. I would want to  show this video because my team and I placed for our contest video. We worked very hard during the practices and managed to turn in our video on time at STN. Placing was just a bonus, and I am just very proud that we turned in our video.

Finally, the last video that I will be deciding on is our Critter Camp video. I may be choosing this video because my partners and I worked very hard on the Critter Camp video. The Critter Camp video also aired on Hiki No, which is another reason why I want to share this video.

Overall, those are the videos I will be choosing from to share at our Family Night. My PSA, our Anchoring Video, and our Critter Camp video. Which one do you think I should choose? Anyways, thanks for reading! Have a great day, bye!

stn Reflection

What's up guys! Our class just came back from our STN trip last month. If you didn't know, we went to Tennessee, and Boston! I had such a fun time this year, and I still can't beileve that this is my last year in this media class. Anyways in this blog today I'm going to be talking about some of my highlights from this years STN tip, and basically reminisce.

One of my many highlights from this years STN trip were both the film excellence and closing ceremony. One of the reasons why the opening ceremony were part of one of my highlights are because I enjoyed the films, and found them all interesting! One of my favorite films this year was the horror film, it gave me 'slender man' vibes. Closing ceremony was of course one my favorites. This year Ty, Janine, and I won second honorable mention for anchoring, which I am very grateful for. I am also so happy for the 7th graders who were in the news magazine because the won first place!

Another highlight I had on the trip was seeing snow! Being that it was only my second time going to the mainland, I saw snow for the first time! Seeing snow was definitely at the top of my bucket list, and I was so happy that I had the opportunity to get to play in the snow! During one of the nights in Boston, it was about 10-11 pm and all of us went out of the hotel and starting playing in the snow! It was so fun bonding with everyone, and it was one of my favorite memories on the trip.

Finally, the last highlight of my trip was just being able to bond and just have fun with everyone! I got closer with so many people this year because of this trip, and also became friends with a lot of other people. I couldn't be more thankful for being able to go on this trip because I wouldn't have all of these memories with me. I also learned so much during this trip. I learned about college and how we should try new things, and even got to learn so much about music. I also learned so much about my other classmates that I didn't know before and that made me so much closer to them.

Overall, I didn't have any low points during the trip and I couldn't be any more happier that I got to go on this trip. I had such a fun experience and going on this trip has given me so much opportunities. I hope everyone has a good time next year, and good luck on all of your competitions! I hope you enjoyed reading my blog, bye everyone!

New quarter, new goals

1/21/2018

Hey everyone! So it’s been a while, but this weeks blog topic is about our new goals for the quarter. So, we have to three of our goals for the third quarter and how we plan to reach them. I have a lot of goals this quarter that I want to be talking about, but I can only talk about three. If you want to know what those three goals are, just keep on reading.

Firstly, my first goal is to do all my blogs! I haven’t been posting anything on my website for my blogs. That is because I either keep forgetting to do it or I start them, and I forget to finish them. That is my first goal, to do and finish all of my blogs this upcoming quarter.

My second goal is to reach all my deadlines this quarter. I have reached most or all of my radios deadlines last quarter and that’s great. I hope I reach all of my radio deadlines this quarter as well. I also hope I reach all of my project deadlines this quarter, and if I want that to happen, I have to be focus and do all of my work. That is my second goal for this quarter.

My third or last goal for this quarter is to not PROCRASTINATE! Most people already probably said this in their blog as well, but it very common for everyone including myself to procrastinate. This goal kind’ve ties into my last goal, because if I want to reach all of my deadlines this quarter. I can’t procrastinate. So again, I have to stay focused and do all of my work.

Overall, my three goals for this quarter is to finish my blogs, reach all of my deadlines, and lastly to not procrastinate. Although I only talk about three, I have many more. I hope you enjoyed reading my blog, have a great day!!

NEW YEAR, NEW GOALS

9/9/2017

Hey everyone! I'm back to doing blogs for the year, which means that I'm going to be doing one or two every week! So for our first blog that Mr. M assigned us to write about is our goals for the new school year. I have many new goals for this school year and you might be very familiar with one of them if you read my blogs last year, because I talked about it in almost every blog. But because I'm a mentor or a returnee this year, I'm going to be talking about being a good mentor for one of my goals. Anywho, if you want to know what my goals are for the year, just keep on reading!

So my first goal for the school year is to be a good mentor to both my partners. Yes, I have two partners for the school which can be very exciting and I'm looking forward to working with both of them. In our group there are two returnees, including me, and one newbee, and they're names are Halea and Natalie! Natalie was in our class last year, and Halea is new. So far, working with them has been great and I'm having fun teaching Halea different things to do and how to use many new equipment.

My second goal for this school year is to meet all my deadlines. Last year, I met most of my deadlines, but I did not meet all of them. I had a lot on mind, which meant I got distracted a lot, and I know this isn't a good reason on why I did not meet my deadlines, but me getting distracted kind've set me off. So this year I hope I won't get distracted that much like last, and  I hope i'll just focus more on media and not on the little things.

So my last goals is to not PROCRASTINATE... as much as last year. That is the word that I have talked about so much last year in my blogs. I procrastinated so much last year, I lost count. But let's hope I don't procrastinate a lot this year because,  the less I procrastinate, the less I will stress out, which is good, and that I know I will be very happy.. I know this goal is almost the same as the last one, but I think both are very important and that's why I put it in two different goals.

Anyways, that are my goals for the new school year. I hope that I will be a good mentor for both of my partners, I hope that I will meets most, or even better all of my deadlines for the school year, and finally again, I hope I do not procrastinate. I hope you guys like my blog, and don't forget to come back next week again. Have a great day or night, bye!
